Highlighted in the United Supreme Council, 33, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliation, Southern Jurisdiction's Constitution & General Regulations: "It shall be the duty of the Grand Almoner to receive and distribute according to the usages of the Rite, all funds contributed for the fraternal assistance of worthy and distressed members of the Order."
